Connie Virginia Fegert Corsi Lewallen, 69, went to be with the Lord, peacefully in her sleep, August 22, 2010, at Mt. Vernon Assisted Living Center in Idaho Falls.
Connie was born April 30, 1941, in Ely, Nevada, to Howard Fegert and Virginia Dolan Fegert. Connie grew up in the Elko area, received her GED and graduated from business school.
Connie married Clyde E. Corsi October 26, 1957, in Battleground, Washington. They had four children, Cheryl Lynne, Clyde Randy, Melinda Virginia, and Christine Marie. Clyde passed away March 23, 1992.
Connie married Tom Lewallen on March 23, 1996, at Calvary Baptist Church in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Connie was an administrative assistant at the INL and retired in June, 2001.
Connie loved to spend time with her family, gardening, bowling, quilting and embroidery.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Ray Lewallen of Idaho Falls; children, Cheryl (Lynn) Stoller of Idaho Falls, Clyde Randy (Tammy) Corsi of St. Maries, Idaho, Melinda (Brian) O’Connor of McFadden, Wyoming, and Christine (Mike) Moye of Smiths, Alabama; stepchildren, Tom (Andrea) Lewallen, Patti (Brent) Curzon, Beth (Wayne) Baker, and Kama (Dennis) Peracchio; 19 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren, Kenneth Rackham, Taylor-Lyn Virginia Rackham, Xavier Lewallen, and baby girl Lewallen.
Private Services were held in the Iona Cemetery on Saturday, August 28, 2010, and a luncheon followed at First Christian Church in Idaho Falls.
The family wishes to offer special thanks to Aspen Home Health & Hospice, Verla, Julie, Alice and other staff members at Mt. Vernon for their wonderful care and giving.

I read in the paper today about the passing of Connie. I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Connie very well but I thought she was a very classy lady. I also know she was a very good person. I believe she is in a better place.
