Click Here To View Memorial Video J. Concejo Palacios, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 5, 2013, at his home of cancer. He was under the care of his family and Avalon Hospice. Concejo was born April 26, 1954, in Guanajuato, Mexico, to Jose Feliciano Palacios Aguilar and Aurora Ceina Rosales. He grew up and attended schools in Mexico. On October 4, 1979, he married Maria Matilde Carrillo in Calvillo, Guanajuato, Mexico. To this union were born six children, Cain, Elisa, Rossana, Lorna, Jose, and Endy. Concejo and Matilde lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, for more than 20 years, then moved to Idaho and lived in Roberts for six years before coming to Idaho Falls six years ago. Concejo worked in construction and as a truck driver. He enjoyed gardening and construction, especially wood crafting. Concejo is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Matilde, Son, Cain Palacios of Idaho Falls, ID, Son, Jose Feliciano Palacios of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Elisa Palacios of Las Vegas, NV, Daughter, Rossana Palacios of Salt Lake City, UT, Daughter, Lorna Elia Palacios of Idaho Falls, ID, Son, Endy Palacios of Idaho Falls, ID; Parents, Jose & Aurora Palacios 5 brothers, Juan Palacios, Narciso Palacios, Wenseslao Palacios, Patrocinio Palacios, and Isabel Palacios; 4 sisters, Estela Palacios, Herminia Palacios, Norma Palacios, and Asuncion Palacios; 6 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Saturday, both at Wood Funeral Home East Side. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
