It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Larry Harp, age 72, and his beloved wife, Colleen Stevens-Harp, age 74. They left us just two weeks apart on January 2, 2026, and January 16, 2026, after living a life full of love and togetherness.
Larry was born on June 18, 1953, in Santa Barbara, California, to Eugene Henson and Delores Cobb. He served with honor in the United States Navy and had five children from his first marriage: Theresa, Dee, Sabrina, Jady, and John. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, and gaming with his granddaughter, Aleena. His sense of humor, warmth, and generosity left a mark on everyone he met.
Colleen was born on May 21, 1951, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the youngest of seventeen children born to Heber Russell and Jesse Rosemond Robbins Stevens. She married Larry on August 3, 1996, and they shared decades of love, laughter, and adventures. Colleen loved writing poems and movie nights with Aleena. She enjoyed creating personalized quilts for her friends and family. Everyone loved Colleen and her radiant personality.
Together, they built a life full of memories, always supporting each other. They were inseparable in life, and it seems only fitting that they are together now.
They are survived by Colleen’s daughter, Tish Berard, and her husband, Brian; Larry’s children; Theresa and husband, Doug Mitchell; Sabrina and husband, Mark Ralya; Dee and husband, Bill Breeden; Jady and wife, Brittany Harp; and John and wife, Alex Harp; their grandchildren; Linkon, Shay, Victoria, Jack, Elizabeth, Kimberly, Madisyn, Robert, Alexandria, Jade, Aleena, River, Isabella, Atheena and Andrew, and many close friends and family who will miss them deeply. They were preceded in death by their parents and Colleen’s son, Trevor.
A joint graveside service to celebrate their lives will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Ammon Cemetery. The family kindly asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of Eastern Idaho or Symbii Home Health and Hospice.
Though we feel a deep loss, we take comfort in knowing they are now together forever.
