Colleen Isaacs

Colleen Isaacs, 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 14, 2016, at her home. she was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho and her loving family. Colleen was born March 17, 1949, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Darrel William Sargent and LaVon Crystal Sargent. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. She later attended Vogue Beauty School.

On November 15, 1968, she married Clyde Marquez. To this union were born two children, Tony and Angela. Colleen and Clyde made their home in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. Colleen worked as a seamstress for Robison Distributing. On December 20, 1996, she married Joseph Larry Isaacs in Idaho Falls.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Eagles Lodge. Her beloved dog since 2004, Sonny, was Colleen’s best friend and companion.

Colleen is survived by her son, Tony Marquez of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Angela Von Marquez, of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Roger "Pete" Sargent, of Lewisville, ID; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Isaacs; her father, Darrel Sargent; her mother, LaVon Hill; and her stepfather, Raymond Hill.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 21, 2016, at Colleen’s home.
