Colleen Carlson - 01/18/2003 Colleen Carlson - 01/18/2003 COLLEEN CARLSON IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Colleen Carlson, 72, of Idaho Falls, died January 17, 2003, at her home. She was under the care of Aspen Hospice. She was born November 22, 1930, in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Glenn David Beddes and Leola May Worrell Beddes. She grew up in Parker, attended Parker Elementary, and graduated from South Fremont High School at St. Anthony. She married Vernon Carlson December 28, 1949 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They lived in Rexburg, Shelley and in Idaho Falls for the past 13 years. She was always a homemaker and mother and also worked as a clerk at King's in Rexburg, and as a Lead Lady for R. T. French and Pillsbury Company. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed taking care of her family, reading, traveling, quilting, sewing, embroidery, knitting and crocheting. Surviving are:Husband: Vernon Carlson, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Sid (Gaylene) Carlson, Shelley, IDDaughter: Linda (Scott) Perrenoud, Plano, IDDaughter: Chris (Karl) Grover, Shelley, IDSon: Ted (Kim) Carlson, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Glenda ‘Brigit’ (Todd) Gray, Escondido, CABrother: Leroy (Vivian) Beddes, St. Anthony, IDSister: Shirley (Kay) Luthy, Ririe, IDSister-in-law: Barbara Beddes, Shelley, IDBrother: Kenny (Anne) Beddes, Rigby, ID23 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Gary Beddes and a great-granddaughter. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Tuesday, January 21, 2003, at the Idaho Falls LDS North Stake Center, 955 Memorial Drive, with Bishop David Holland of the Idaho Falls LDS 7th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 North Ridge) and for one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the church.
