Cody Scibior

Our wonderful son, Cody Stephen Scibior, 31, formerly of Idaho Falls, left this earth on April 16, 2012 in Frederick, Colorado. He was born on September 4, 1980 in Redwood City, California to Steve Scibior and Karol Scibior. He attended Hillcrest High School in Idaho Falls and graduated from Wyotech in Fremont, CA with his motorcycle mechanic certificate. On July 4, 2009, he married Valerie Kinzie in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their son, Christian, age two, is the “Sunshine” of their lives. Cody worked in the oil fields in the Denver area. The true joys in his life were his son, Christian; riding his dirtbike; playing with his German Shorthair dogs, Duke and Daisy; and being with his many loyal and loving friends. He was always the brightest light in the room and he enjoyed making everyone laugh. Although he lived in Colorado, he loved Idaho Falls and always wanted to return. The support of friends and family during this difficult time will always be remembered. He leaves behind: Wife: Valerie Kinzie, Frederick, CO; Son: Christian Scibior, Frederick, CO; Parents: Steve and Karol Scibior, Idaho Falls, ID; Sister: Sara (Brett Radi) Scibior, Idaho Falls, ID; Aunt: Vickie (Kyle) Jensen, Idaho Falls, ID; Aunt: Sherie (Orion) Dix, Corvallis, OR; Uncle: Zach (Linda) Scibior, San Carlos, CA; Aunt: Karen (Mike) Elkin, Issaquah, WA; Grandfather: Frank “Pampi” (Maria Krzeptowska) Scibior of San Carlos, CA; Cousins: Lindsay Sellon, Erin Dix, Taylor Dix, Randy Elkin, Hayley Elkin, and Alison Scibior, and his beloved dogs, Daisy and Duke He has found peace alongside his grandmothers, Beatrice Scibior and Marilynn Daniels; and grandfather, Ralph Daniels. Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) in Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. A gathering for family and friends will immediately follow services at Vino Rosso, 439 A. Street, Downtown Idaho Falls. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Christian Scibior College Fund at any Westmark Credit Union location.
