Cody Jacob Niendorf Jr.

Cody Jacob Niendorf Jr. passed away on June 23, 2021, in Idaho Falls, Idaho from an accident, doing what he loved most, riding a motorcycle.

Cody was born on November 8, 1979, to Lynn Hill and Cody Niendorf Sr., in Oakland, California. At the age of two, his family moved to Drummond, Idaho. Cody attended Fremont High School. Cody had a sister Ashley whom he loved. Lynn and Cody Sr. later divorced, and Cody Jr. then gained Kelley Blue as a stepmother. From this union Cody Jr. gained two stepbrothers, Colter and Jeramiah. They had many good times growing up. Cody Sr. and Kelley Blue separated and Kelley Hoyle then came into the family as a surrogate stepmother.

Cody Jr. married Amber Jones and from this union came Hailey Niendorf, and stepdaughter, Destiny Jones, he loved both girls very much. Cody and Amber were later divorced in 2007. Cody then met soul mate and partner in crime, Melissa Bierma O’Connor and her two children Jayden and Alexander O’Connor, in 2008. From this union came Moroni, Isaiah, Nehemyah, Lehi, Makai, and Neveah. They have been together for 15 years with many ups and downs, as well as struggles with various addictions. Due to these struggles both Cody Jr. and Melissa decided that they loved the children enough to have Aunt Misty and Uncle Ben raise and adopt them as their own. As to not have them live the life of struggles they did.

Cody worked hard trying to prove he was a good person by helping others. He was very smart and talented in figuring out how to fix or jerry-rigging anything. He loved motorcycles, logging, fishing, however logging was his favorite job he ever had. Mowing lawns and cutting down extra large trees was another great talent. He was working with Keith Walker as his mentor and friend while trying to learn better social skills.
