Cody Jack Hill

Cody Jack Hill, 24, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 15, 2016, at his home.

Cody was born February 2, 1992, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Duane Jack Hill and Tracy Lucille Shaul Hill. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls at Ucon Elementary and Rocky Mountain Middle School and graduated from Bonneville High School.

Cody has been with his girlfriend, Emily Helgeson, for seven years. Cody resided with his grandparents, Dennis and Mary Shaul in Idaho Falls and worked at Jiffy Lube.

He enjoyed snowboarding, fly fishing, hunting with his dog, Eli, and especially spending time with his family and friends.

Cody is survived by his loving girlfriend of seven years, Emily Helgeson; parents, Tracy Shaul and Duane Jack (Terri) Hill; sister, Rachel Kimberly Hill (Dillon David); niece, Hope David; grandmother, JoAnn Herrera; grandparents, Dennis & Mary Shaul; aunts, Kathy Hill, Debbie Utterbeck (Steve Winston), Kim (Jay) Ellingford; uncles, Phil Shaul, Jeff (Penny) Shaul, Ryan (Stacey) Shaul; Brett Stroud; stepbrothers and stepsister; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jack L. Hill and Joe Herrera.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, with Steve Winston officiating. There will be a viewing for family and friends Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery.
