CLYDE STONE DUBOIS, ID -- Clyde Leon Stone, 76, of Dubois, passed away December 29, 2008, at his home of natural causes. He was born January 17, 1932, in Malad, Idaho, to David Ariel Stone and Edna Louise Gillgan Stone. He grew up in Pocatello and attended schools there. He also attended the University of Idaho. He lived in Pocatello for 31 years and moved to Dubois 45 years ago. He was married and divorced. He worked as a truck driver and mechanic for the Dubois Garage and then at the U. S. Government Sheep Experiment Station in Dubois until his retirement. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens Center for lunch. Clyde also liked camping, fishing, family gatherings, and tinkering with cars. Survivors include: Daughter: Lillie Velet Stewart, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Becky Lynne Mitchell, Idaho Falls, ID Son: David Leon Stone, Dubois, ID Son: Richard Clyde Stone, Monteview, ID Son: Troy Neil Stone, Dubois, ID Daughter: Kathy Ray Stone, Dubois, ID Daughter: Annie Lee Warren, Sweethome, OR Son: Michael Paul Stone, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: LaRoy Ariel Stone, Pocatello, ID Brother: Paul David Stone, Pahrump, NV Brother: Carl Fredrick Stone, Provo, UT 19 Grandchildren & 18 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2009, at the Dubois LDS Beaver Creek Ward with Shane Jacobson officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, Idaho Falls, and Monday from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at the church.
