Cleon Johnson - 10/02/2002 Cleon Johnson - 10/02/2002 CLEON L. JOHNSON IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Cleon L. Johnson, 79, of Idaho Falls, died October 1, 2002, at his home with his loving wife and family present. He was born January 13, 1923 in Shelley to Leslie Ivan Johnson and Ruby Kelley Johnson. He grew up and attended schools there, graduating from Shelley High School. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II on the USS Saratoga. On March 2, 1947, he married Lorna Gail Musgrave in Shelley. Cleon owned and operated several businesses before retiring at age 50. He was a pilot and a member of the Elks Lodge. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved birthdays and holidays with his family. Cleon also loved to travel in their motor home with his wife, Lorna, and visit friends all across the country. JohnsonHe was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, and two sons. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2002, at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon Rd.). The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery.
