CLEO PRATT
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Cleo May Pratt, 87, of Idaho Falls, died January 3, 2006, at Mallory House Assisted Living.
She was born June 3, 1916, in Union, Oregon, to Elmer Nicholas Jacobs and Nancy Mae Peterson Jacobs. She lived in Union for 18 years where she attended elementary and High Schools. She attended Ricks College, living in Rexburg, Idaho, from 1936 to 1942.
She married Morris Young Pratt October 1936, in Rexburg, Idaho. They lived in Clearfield, Utah, then returned to Idaho Falls, where she has lived since 1945.
She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for the Burt Wackerli auto dealership and for Phillips Petroleum Company at the AEC Site as the travel secretary.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and also the Rebeckah’s Lodge. She loved to travel and was expert at knitting.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Jacqueline (Robert) Hays, Idaho Falls,
Son: Thomas Jeffrey (Ruth) Pratt, Bountiful, UT,
8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Brother: John Waldo (Ruth) Jacobs, Vida, OR
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Morris.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2006, at the Idaho Falls LDS Woodruff 1st Ward, 1660 - 12th Street, with Bishop LaMar Densley officiating.
The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and for one hour before services Friday at the church.
Burial will be in the Brigham City Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
