Cleo Jones Muehlfeit

CLEO J. MUEHLFEIT IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Cleo Elaine Jones Muehlfeit, 80, of Idaho Falls, died August 25, 2004, at her home. She was born August 24, 1924 at Menan to Henry Warden Jones and Lola Yearsley Jones. She grew up in the area and graduated from Midway High School. On August 24, 1942, she married Roy August Muehlfeit in Menan. In May of 1965, their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She worked in the school lunchroom and for many years at the election polls. She was also a seamstress and worked in the fabric store in Rigby. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she held numerous callings in the church. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, traveling, writing poetry, music, and visiting family and friends. She passed away surrounded by her beloved family. Surviving are: Husband: Roy A. Muehlfeit, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Coleen M. (Harry) Smith, Delta, UT Daughter: Linda M. Elliott, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Lynn A. (DiAnn) Muehlfeit, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Paulette M. (Terry) Beckstead, Salt Lake City, UT Daughter: Karen M. (Sid) Crookston, Hyde Park, UT Daughter: Nancy M. (Bob) North, Riverton, UT Brother: Cecil Jones, CA Brother: Kenny Jones, Grant, ID Sister: Audrey Ellingson, UT Sister: Estalene Andrus, Grant, ID Sister: Shirley Poole, Menan, ID 25 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, a grandson and a great granddaughter. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Saturday, August 28, 2004, at the Idaho Falls LDS Coltman 1st Ward (12448 North 5th East), with Bro. Joel Brighton, First Counselor in the Bishopric. officiating. The family will meet with friends on Friday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Coltman 1st Ward and from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
