CLELL GREENE, SR.
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Clell Marker Greene, Sr., 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away Sunday November 15, 2009 at home. He was born May 22, 1934 in Driggs, Idaho to Alonzo Young Greene and Abigail Marker Greene. Clell was the youngest of nine children.
Clell left Idaho in 1954 for California. He married Rita Hill in 1954 and to that union were born Adele, David, and Clell, Jr. They divorced and he later married LouAnn Moore and to that union were born Christopher and Nicolas Scott. He later met Kathleen Kriemann and spent his final years with Kathy. He returned to Idaho in 1994.
Clell, also known by friends as “Homer,” worked most of his life as a mechanic. He was a hard worker and could fix or build anything. He said he was "A Jack of All Trades." Clell was a giving man who was always ready to help a neighbor.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Estes LeRoy Greene, Lyle Young Greene, Sr., Bruce Rhodes Greene; and four sisters, LeIsle Rasmussen, Shirla Herrera, Ila Mares and DeOn Greene.
He is survived by one daughter, Adele Greene, of Visalia, CA; and four sons, David Greene and wife Shelley of Hesperia, CA, Clell, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Visalia, CA, Christopher and wife Jade of Little Elm, TX and Scott and fiance Crystal of Richardson, Texas. Two sisters, Thelma Campbell of San Diego, CA and Rosemary Summers of Driggs, ID. Grandchildren, Mandi Garcia and husband Paul, Craig Greene and wife Nicole, Ashley and Adam Greene, Maili and Noa Greene, and a grandson due April of next year. Three great-grandchildren, David Paul Guerra, Brysen and Cody Greene. Long time companion Kathleen Kreimann and her children, Kimberly, Keith, Kodie-Ken, Korbitt, Kemmitt and Quinncey.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 20, 2009 at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services. Burial will be in July 2010 at the Pratt Cemetery, Alta Wyoming during the Greene Family Reunion.
