Clayton Allen

Clayton Brian Allen, 52, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 1, 2014, at his home. He was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice. Brian was born June 14, 1962, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Richard M. Allen and Judy Ann Sword Allen. He grew up and attended schools in American Falls and Blackfoot, and graduated from Blackfoot High School. On February 14, 1987, he married Betsy Joanne Baker. They were the parents to two children, Richard and April. Brian and Betsy made their home in Junction City, Oregon, where Brian worked at Serv Pro. Brian and Betsy were later divorced. Brian served his country in the United States Army, earning the rank of E4. He was a member of The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed reading, watching movies, spending time with family and friends, collecting military memorabilia, fishing, and working on cars. Brian is survived by his son, Richard (Jody) Allen, of Nebraska; step-daughter, April, of Nebraska; parents, Richard and Judy Allen, of Nampa, Idaho; brother, Tom Barker (Cindy Poquette), of Seattle, Washington; sister, Debra Allen (Jack Kirtley) of Idaho Falls, Idaho; sister, Edie Jones (Lance Jones) of Nampa, Idaho. 4 grandchildren, 1 niece, and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orris and Edith Sword. Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at the Idaho Falls LDS Rose Park Ward, 351 West 14th Street.
