Click Here To View Memorial Video On Monday, May 4th, 2015, Claudia Faryl Brown Smith was reunited in the Spirit World with her loved ones she desperately missed. She passed away at home of natural causes at the age of 72. Claudia was born on October 10, 1942 to Donald Andrew and Natella Polson Brown in Idaho Falls, ID. She attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. Claudia had a contagious smile and spoke frequently of the good friends she enjoyed in school. In 1961 she started dating Verel Smith. They were married in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on August 7, 1962. Claudia's greatest joys in life were her family and the Gospel of Jesus Christ where she enjoyed serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She also loved to read and paint. Claudia was preceded in death by her Father and Mother; a son, Darren J. Smith, and her three sisters, Myrna Lynne Geier, Donna Bearden, and Charla Westguard. She is survived by her husband, Verel Jay Smith; a daughter-in-law, Jana (Darren) Smith; sons, David Smith, Jared (Janae) Smith and Jordan (Kristen) Smith; and a daughter, Robyn (Curtiss) Mitchell and 14 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015, at the Idaho Falls 11th Ward, 1235 Juniper, with Bishop Randy Peterson officiating. The family will visit with friends from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery.
