Our precious father and grandfather, Raymond Claud Walker, age 88, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 30, 2012, at his home, of natural causes. He was being cared for by his family and Hearts for Hospice.
Claud was born September 18, 1923, in Ammon, Idaho, to William Hall Walker and Marcia Ann Waters Walker. He grew up in Ammon and attended Ammon and Osgood schools.
On November 20, 1949, he married Reva Elaine Quinton in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on December 14, 1961. Claud and Reva made their home on the family farm north of Ucon, where Claud farmed all his life. Reva passed away October 27, 2007.
Claud was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various capacities throughout the years, including the High Priest Group Leadership, in the Sunday School Presidency, in the library, in the Adult Aaronic program, and as a ward greeter. Claud loved his family, farming, and cattle. He loved taking care of his mother and father-in-law in their home.

Daughter, Claudia Elaine Walker of Idaho Falls, ID;
Daughter, Vicky (Mark) Bellows of Rigby, ID,
7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Reva, all of his siblings, George Walker, Berneice Empey, Lapreal Covert, Leonard Walker, Paul Walker, and Leland Walker, and a great granddaughter, Skye Gonzales.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2012, at the Ucon LDS Stake Center, 2967 East 105 North, Idaho Falls, with Bishop Ryan Loftus of the Homestead Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
