Clara McIver Holbrook, 90, of Idaho Falls, passed away on March 28, 2015, at the Gables of Ammon with her children by her side.
She was born November 20, 1924, to Richard McIver and Anne Baker McIver in Lancashire, England. She attended schools at St. Beeds. In 1946, she came to America.
Clara had five children and devoted her life to raising her children. She worked at Idaho National Laboratories (INL) as a janitor at the Power Burst Facility until her retirement in 1985. Since that time she has lived in Wyoming and Idaho. She lived at the Gables of Ammon for the past 4 years.

She is survived by her five children: Tom (Lynn) Bingham of Boise; Rowena Barker of Idaho Falls; Mike (Anita) Bingham of Orofino, Idaho; Glennis (Charlie) Godleski of Idaho Falls; and Jerry Bingham of Idaho Falls; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers and 2 nieces in Lancashire, England.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Richard Layson.
Per her request, cremation has occured and no services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon).
