Cynthia Ann Wolfley, 78, of Rigby, passed away April 29, 2023, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was under the care of her loving family.
Cindy was born July 3, 1944, in Orange County, California, to Leon Forrest Alger and Frances Rose Burns Alger. She grew up and attended schools in Eureka, California, and graduated from Eureka Senior High School.
On June 8, 1964, she married Bruce Wolfley in Eureka. They were blessed with five children, Ann, Bruce, Craig, Nancy, and Michael. She made Portland, Oregon, her home for over thirty years, and then moved to Rigby, Idaho, where she lived until the time of her passing.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. Cindy had the ability to be a friend to everyone. She was very thoughtful, had a big personality, and was full of joy and laughter.
Cindy is survived by her loving daughter, Ann (David) Yeaman of Randlett, UT; son, Bruce (Miriam) Wolfley of Syracuse, UT; son, Craig (Julianna) Wolfley of North Salt Lake, UT; daughter, Nancy (Ken) Roberts of Orem, UT; son, Mike (Heather) Wolfley of Rigby, ID; 26 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Thomas and Ross Alger.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2023, at the Garfield 3rd Ward, 196 North 4000 East, in Rigby, Idaho, with Bishop Brad Wells officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Emmett Cemetery in Emmett, Idaho.
