Cindy Tocheri

Cindy Rae Emery Tocheri, 57, of Idaho Falls, passed away on December 7, 2011, at her home. She was born June 10, 1954, at Rexburg, Idaho to Dennis Wilding Emery and Vionia Hazel Burrell Emery. The family moved to Idaho Falls where she attended schools. She married John Swendsen and had a daughter, Teresa. They were later divorced. She married Gary Barnes and had a son, Weston. They were later divorced. On March 27, 2001, she married Jerry Tocheri in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on January 24, 2008. She worked at Circle Valley Produce. Cindy loved animals, particularly her dog, Tiny. She loved horses and loved to go riding. She played pool on a league and enjoyed traveling. Cindy especially loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and with her friends. Survivors are: Daughter: Teresa (Lanni) Rasmussen, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Weston Barnes, Salt Lake City, UT Brother: George (Amy) Emery, South Dakota Brother: Scott (Brenda) Emery, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Lynn (Jamie) Sumner, Idaho Falls, ID 3 Grandchildren: Torey Swendsen, Tausha Rasmussen, and Austin Rasmussen She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Tocheri; her mother, Vi Sumner; and her stepfather, Fred Sumner. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 2:00-2:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
