Cindy Laird

Cindy Lue Laird, 65, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 10, 2026, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Cindy was born September 14, 1960, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Darald Earl Lockes and Esther Bernice Croft Lockes. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School.

On November 22, 1980, she married Joseph Ryan Laird in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Cindy and Ryan made their home in Idaho Falls, where Cindy was a homemaker.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she loved serving as a Primary teacher. She also enjoyed volleyball.

Cindy is survived by her mother, Esther Bernice Lockes; husband, Ryan Laird of Hyrum, UT; daughter, Melissa (Kasey) Bunce of Hyrum, UT; daughter, Rebecca Bean of Idaho Falls, ID; grandson, Talon Bunce; grandson, Grason Bunce; granddaughter, Alexis Laird; sister, Vicki (Todd) Beattie of Ammon, ID; sister, Connie (John) Ball of Ammon, ID; and sister, Lorie (Carl) Reis of Ammon, ID.

She was preceded in death by her father, Darald Earl Lockes.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2026, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
