Cindy Andrus

Cynthia Helen "Cindy" Andrus, 54, of Salmon, passed away May 19, 2016, at her daughter’s home in Rigby. She was under the care of Hearts for Hospice.

Cindy was born January 16, 1962, in Arco, Idaho, to Darrell Wray and M. Faye Whitney. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and attended Bonneville High School. She earned her GED from Eastern Idaho Technical College.

On September 1, 2000, she married Ernest C. Andrus in Idaho Falls. Cindy and Ernest made their home in Salmon, Idaho, where Cindy was a home maker.

She enjoyed being a mother and grandmother.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Ernie Andrus of Salmon, ID; daughter, Amanda (Robert) Messinger of Rigby, ID; daughter, Tonya Peterson of Pocatello, ID; son, Daniel (Alyssa) Ames of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Cornie Andrus of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Charlie Andrus of Idaho Falls, ID; father, Darrell (Colleen) Wray of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Tim Wray of Mesa, AZ; brother, Danny (Terri) Kelly of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Greg (Shelley) Wray; sister, Sheri (Rodger) Havens of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Julie (Gordon) Bird of Idaho; sister, Tammy (LeRoy) Garcia of Idaho Falls; and grandchildren Kirstan, Madison, Jordan, Traven, Braxton, MacyLyn, Jaiden, Teagan, Giovanni, Zz, and Mari.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Faye Hansen, her grandparents Doyle & Helen Whitney and her parents-in-law Ruth & Ernie Andrus.

Services will be held at a 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the LDS Church, 602 Sundance, Rigby, Idaho. The family will visit with friends 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. A luncheon will follow the services.
