Chuck Buchanan Jr

Charles "Chuck" R. Buchanan, 41, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 18, 2017, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Chuck was born October 17, 1976, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Sandra Ranee Buchanan. He was later adopted by his grandparents, Charles and Leola Buchanan. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, where he attended Gethsemane Baptist School and Taylorview Junior High. Chuck enjoyed hiking, camping, fishing, picking huckleberries and spending time with his fiancé and their two dogs, Chloe and Mocha. Chuck is survived by daughter, Dartanya Elizabeth Walters of Portland, OR; fiancé, Wendy Carroll of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Mary Ellen (Nick) Lewis of Wapello, ID; sister, Patricia Villalovos of Houston, TX; sister, Karen Ingelstrom of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Shawna (Dennis) Staggs of Rigby, ID; sister, Pam LeVan of Idaho Falls, ID; biological father, Chad (Joyce) Byington of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Erick Byington of Boise, ID; sister, Celicia Byington of Boise, ID; brother, Jason Byington of Boise, ID; Wendy's mother, Joyce Carroll of Idaho Falls, ID; dogs, Chloe and Mocha; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Charles Raymond Buchanan, Sr. and Leola Buchanan and his mother, Sandra Ranee Buchanan. Private family services will be held at a later date.
