Christopher Lee Harris-Luce, 42, of Ammon, passed away February 14, 2019, at his home. Chris was born July 12, 1976, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Dave Luce and Teresa Jo Jones Nielsen. He grew up and attended schools in Rigby and Ucon. He was a loving father to his daughter, Jade. He made his home in Ammon, Idaho, where he worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed woodworking, sculpting, carpentry, camping, fishing, riding Harleys, artistry, and his dogs. Chris is survived by his wife, Phyllisha; daughter, Jade Skye Gneiting of Ririe, ID; father, Dave Luce of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Teresa Jo Nielsen of Blackfoot, ID; sister, Tara (George) Moon of Ririe, ID; brother, Nathan Luce of Shelley, ID; sister, Nichelle (Jacob) Palomarez of Burley, ID; sister, Nicole (Simon) Crapo of West Jordan, UT; and grandmother, Joan Buckland of Rexburg, ID. He was a loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Mike Harris; cousin, Richard Jones; grandfathers, Lawrence Buckland and Albert Jones; and grandparents, Ken and Glenna Luce and Lee and Pearl Harris. There will be a gathering and viewing from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. A Celebration of Life will be held this July.
