Click Here To View Memorial Video Christine B. Isenhart, 89, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away September 28, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Christine was born April 7, 1924, in Evanston, Wyoming, to James Brown and Mary Alice Duncombe Brown. She grew up in Evanston, WY, and eventually settled in Idaho Falls, ID. On October 16, 1950, she married Henry Clay Isenhart at her sister’s home in Evanston, WY. They were sealed in the Logan Utah LDS Temple on October 16, 1951. Her beloved husband, Henry, passed away on June 6, 2000. Christine graduated from high school in Evanston, WY in 1942, focusing as much as possible on business subjects. During her lifetime she pursued that profession entirely. In her youth she worked as a bookstore clerk for her brother-in-law, Scott Taggart. During World War II, she worked in the Union Pacific railroad shops. Later, she worked for Mountain Fuel Supply Co., and then the U.S. Depot in Ogden, Utah, before moving to Idaho Falls where she worked for Roger Brothers Seed for four years. She then accepted a job with General Motors where she retired in 1979 as an Accounting Supervisor. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, accepting many calls throughout her membership. Christine was very creative; she enjoyed knitting, quilting, various crafts and painting. Christine is survived by: Brother: Joseph Brown of Provo, UT; Sister: Alice B Crompton of Portland, OR; Step-son: William Isenhart of Baltimore, MD. Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, step-son, James Isenhart, sisters, Addie Taggart and Mary Williams, and a brother, James Dick Brown. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge.
