Christine Louise (Cook) Arana

Christine Louise Arana passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Chris was born on November 6, 1946, to Charles and Eileen Cook. She is survived by her four sons, Jason, Derek, Danny, and Antony. She is also a very proud Nana to 15 grandchildren and a great grandson.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, stepfather, sister, and her only daughter, Yolanda.

Chris had the pleasure of calling many places home. She resided in California, Nevada, New Mexico, and her final residence in Pinedale, Wyoming.

Chris lived a very passionate life. Her patriotism shined with all her charitable work as a Blue Star Mom. Soldiers, veterans, firefighters, and police officers were always near and dear to her heart. She loved to travel, explore, and meet new people. Chris would never turn down a road trip or an adventure, and she always made sure to stop by at a local fire station on her way to thank them for their service.

In lieu of flowers, Chris would love a donation made in her honor to a charity that she holds dear to her heart, St. Jude's and Wounded Warrior Project.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Rio Bravo Brewing Company, 1912 2nd Street NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
