Christian Daniel Hartmann, 46, of Idaho Falls, died suddenly in his sleep on the morning of December 14, 2016. Christian was suffering from some serious medical issues, but his death was unexpected. He was a kind and caring human being.
Christian was born on September 8, 1970 in Roanoke, Virginia. He was adopted when he was ten months old by David and Donna Hartmann. He grew up in Fairfax County, Virginia with his older brother, Timothy David. Christian graduated from Annandale High School and then joined the Army. After two years in the Army he spent most of his adult life working in the far West.
He made his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho and was a member of the Watersprings Church. In the summer of 2005 he met his wife, Tressa Marial Watson, in Mackay, Idaho. They were married December 8, 2006. He enjoyed hunting, camping, boating, hiking and many other outdoor activities. The time spent with his children, Braden, Nevaeh, and Kylee, was what he cherished most. He was great with children and loved spending time with all of his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed going to Friday sushi nights. Christian was always trying to help people and he worked hard in whatever he did. There was nothing he couldn’t do once he set his mind to it. He will be greatly missed.
Christian leaves behind his wife, Tressa Hartmann; his three young children, Braden, Nevaeh, Kylee; parents, Christian David and LaDonna Hartmann; and brother, Timothy Hartmann.
Arrangements are currently pending under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
