Christal Bakke

Christal Avon Prichard Bakke, 40, of Idaho Falls, ID, passed away May 3, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born April 16, 1972, in Las Vegas, NV to Dennis Fredrick Prichard and Peggy Ann Davis. Christal grew up in Colorado and attended Canon City High School and Pikes Peak Community College while living there. On April 21, 2000 Christal married Lance Dewayne Bakke. Together they raised two boys. She worked as a nurse at Maryhearst Hospital in Louisville, KY. Christal enjoyed reading, camping and driving her convertible. She also loved listening to music. Christal is survived by her husband Lance Son: Christopher Ryan Henkel of Austin, TX; Son: Dustin Dennis Henkel of Idaho Falls, ID; Nephew: Wyatt Schofield of Ammon, ID, Nephew: Logan Robb of Ammon, ID, Niece: Emma Schofield of Ammon, ID; Nephew: Zachary Engle of , IN; Niece: Emily Engle of IN; Niece: Cassidy (Miller) Engle of, IN; and a Sister: Heather Prichard of Ammon, ID; She as preceded in death by her brother, Dustin Prichard; Grandparents, Hazel and Denzel Davis and two cousins Matt DeMarc and Kevin Vermeline. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Calvary Chapel (4259 South 25th East). A private family burial will take place under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
