CHRIS B. WOOD IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Chris Bert Wood, 53, of Idaho Falls, died June 24, 2003, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center. He was born December 25, 1949, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Forrest William Wood and Helen Morrison Wood. He grew up in Idaho Falls and attended schools here, graduating from Skyline High School. He then attended Brigham Young University, the University of Idaho, Boise State University, and Idaho State University, where he obtained his bachelor's degree in speech pathology. He has also lived in Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and Phoenix, Arizona. He received his cosmetology license and was later an instructor at Vidal Sassoon College in San Francisco. He also worked in Interior Design. He later went to work for Fidelity Investment as an investment agent. He enjoyed travel, music, antique collecting, art, and design. Surviving are: Father: Forrest W. Wood, Blackfoot Brother: Byron F. [Terri] Wood, Nampa Sister: Carol [Ted] Whitehead, Idaho Falls Sister: Jennifer [Alan] Clapp, Idaho Falls Sister: Nancy [Nord] Hill, Blackfoot He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen, and a brother, Kent D. Wood. Graveside Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2003, at the New Sweden Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to Good Samaritan Nursing Home, 840 East Elva, Idaho Falls, ID 83401, or Primary Children’s Medical Center, P. O.
