Chris Williams

Christopher “Chris” Francis Williams, a devoted husband, father, and dedicated public servant, left an indelible mark on the lives of those who loved him. Born on November 4, 1976, in Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota, Chris grew into a brave and adventurous soul, serving his country with honor as a Sergeant in the United States Army. His deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Africa showcased his unwavering commitment to service.

As a Deputy Sheriff for the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office, Chris continued to serve his community with integrity and compassion. But it was his family that brought him the greatest joy. He cherished every moment spent with his wife, Danielle, the love of his life, whom he married on July 23, 2022. His children, Rebecca, Richard, Karlee, Khloe, and Dawson, were his pride and delight. Whether camping, riding dirt bikes, or simply spending time together, Chris lived life to the fullest with the people he loved most.

Beyond his family and official duties, Chris's heart belonged to his community. He was a steadfast supporter of local non-profit organizations and consistently lent a helping hand to those in need. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to serve inspired countless individuals and families in Ammon and beyond.

Chris's passing on September 6, 2025, leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him. Yet, his legacy of love, service, and compassion will continue to inspire his family, friends, and community. His love for Danielle and their children will forever be remembered, and his dedication to public service will be honored by the Bonneville County Sheriff's Honor Guard at his funeral services.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, with visitation hours on Sunday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and Monday from 1-1:45 p.m.

Chris is preceded in death by his father, James Richard Williams.

Chris will be deeply missed by his wife, Danielle; mother, Patricia; children; and all who knew him. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched.
