Chieko Ioka

Chieko Ioka, 78, of Ammon, Idaho, passed away July 7, 2016, at The Gables of Ammon Assisted Living Center. She was under the care of Encompass Hospice. Chieko was born August 28, 1937, in Yokohama, Japan, to Kinosuke Ishizuka and Hana Yokoyama Ishizuka. She grew up and attended schools in Japan. On November 12, 1965, she married Nobukuni Ioka in Yokohama, Japan. Chieko was a wife, mother, and homemaker. Chieko is survived by her daughter, Hisako (Michael) Smith of Ammon, ID, and three siblings, Teruako (Toshie) Ishizuka, Isao (Mitsuyo) Ishizuka, and Kiyoji (Kumiko) Ishizuka, all of Japan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Private Family Services will be held. Burial will be in Riverton Cemetery.
