Cheryle Christine Padgen, 82, our loving mom, grandma, sister, and friend, passed away November 5, 2026, surrounded by love.
Cheryle was born June 13, 1944, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Wallace “Wally” Donald Watson and Charmion Swenson Watson. She grew up and attended schools in Salt Lake City.
She enjoyed gardening, golfing, camping, and spending time and sharing memories with her family. Cheryle was a gifted hostess, who worked as a bartender, in several well-known establishments, and was well-known for her famous Bloody Mary’s. She especially loved celebrating holidays with her family.
Cheryle is survived by her daughters, Laurie (Gary) Wyatt of Ammon, ID, Shanda Sullivan of Pocatello, ID, and Keri (Brian) Reed of Tremonton, UT; brothers, Steve (Tonia) Watson of Rigby, ID and Randy Watson of Salt Lake City, UT; sister, Michelle Alex of Salt Lake City, UT; and her grandchildren, Bryce (Alicia) Gruver, Brandi (Wayne) Whitmill, Brenden Padgen, Miranda Ferrin, Masen Padgen; and her great grandchildren, Morgan Whitmill, Brylee Gruver, Owen Whitmill, Grayson Whitmill, and Peighton Whitmill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and is reunited with her son, Terry Padgen, who left this world far too soon, who she missed so deeply.
Cheryle was gentle natured and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She never met a stranger, and was loved by all. We love you dearly, Mom.
