Cheryl Mae Wiemer

Cheryl Mae Wiemer, 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 28, 2023, at Teton Healthcare of Cascadia.

Cheryl was born May 13, 1957, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Richard Carl Wiemer and Eleanor May Raymond Wiemer. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School.

She married Stuart Dougan and later married Patrick Stoveall. They were later divorced. Cheryl worked as a CNA and a forklift driver.

She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Cheryl is survived by her mother, Eleanor May Wiemer; brother (son), John (Heather) Wiemer of Freeland, MI; son, Travor Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, April Johnson of Boise, ID; sister, Bonnie Hancock of Rigby, ID; sister, Kathie Wiemer of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Lilly Reed of Idaho Falls, ID; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Carl Wiemer; brother, Richard (Butch) John Wiemer; grandfather, John Raymond; grandmother, Doris Raymond; grandfather, William Wiemer; and grandmother, Lilly Wiemer.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Hope Lutheran Church, 2071 12th Street in Idaho Falls.  A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church.

A spring wake will be held at a later date.
