Cheryl Marlene Williams Stevens, 58, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 29, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 7, 1954, in Lexington, Virginia, to James Lawrence Williams and Hazel Arlene Moore Williams. She grew up in Virginia and graduated from Parry McCluer High School in Buena Vista, Virginia.
Cheryl moved to Idaho Falls in 1979, when she married Scott Stevens on December 19, 1979, in Pocatello, Idaho. They were blessed with two children and later divorced. She was a wife, mother and homemaker.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cheryl loved to shop and be with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children,
Daughter, Carrie Arlene Stevens of Idaho Falls, ID;
Son, Gregory Michael (Megan) Stevens of Idaho Falls, ID
Mother, Hazel A. Williams of Idaho Falls, ID;
Brother, Revo (Patricia) Williams of Pocatello, ID;
Brother, Jerel (Angela) Williams of Missouri;
Sister, Gail Davis of Idaho Falls, ID;
Two grandchildren, Sai Kayne and Regan Indie
She was preceded in death by her father, James, and brother, Darryl Williams.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013, at the Ucon LDS Stake Center, 2967 East 105 North, with Ryan Loftus officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery.
