Cheryl Ann (Lott) Noble

Cheryl Ann Lott Noble, 74, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away at her home on February 8, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. The family would like to thank Hands of Hope Hospice for the loving care they provided Cheryl in her last days.

Cheryl was born December 5, 1949, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to John "Jack" Taylor Lott Jr. and Kathleen Stanger Lott. She grew up the oldest of four siblings in the Ammon, Iona areas and graduated from Bonneville High School in 1968. Cheryl loved riding her horse, Midnight, out on Grandpa Stanger's ranch and loved spending summers at Staley Springs with her family. After graduation, she attended Ricks College.

Cheryl met Raymond Wilkie Noble while attending Ricks College. The two were married on September 11, 1969, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They eventually settled in the Lost River Valley, near Moore, Idaho, and had two beautiful daughters, Heather Rae and Whitney Kae.

Cheryl worked at the Arco Elementary School as a teacher's aide for many years. She loved working with the kindergartners and found great joy in this calling. Cheryl eventually left Arco Elementary School and began working for the INL as a security guard. Eventually, she became an administrative assistant and continued to do this up until her retirement. Cheryl loved shopping, going to lunch with the girls, gardening, decorating, and spending time with her family.

Cheryl is survived by her two daughters, Heather Rae Noble of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Whitney Kae Noble, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; one granddaughter, McKinlee Anne Noble; brother, John Taylor Lott III (Lisabeth) of Iona, Idaho; and her sister, Kathy Stewart of Colville, Washington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Wilkie Noble; parents, John "Jack" Taylor Lott Jr. and Kathleen Stanger Lott; brother, David Frank Lott; and her sister, Lori Lott.

A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. A graveside service will follow at the Iona Cemetery.
