CHERYL KOSMAN IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Cheryl Marie Kosman, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away Monday, December 22, 2008, at her home. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Cheryl was born December 8, 1949, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the first of five children born to William Lockwood Berger and Elizabeth Rosalee Stitt Berger. At eight years old her family moved to Hacienda Heights, California, where she attended school and graduated from Los Altos High School in 1968. On April 26, 1969, she married George Wayne Kosman in Hacienda Heights. In 1978, Cheryl and George, along with their two children, moved to Idaho Falls. She worked at INL for several years before staying home to be a homemaker. Cheryl enjoyed reading, drawing, poetry, music, singing and cooking for her family. She especially loved spending time with her family and laughing with them. Cheryl had a contagious laugh and a great sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by all her family, who loved her greatly. Survivors include her husband, George; two children, Shannon Kosman-Rich of Idaho Falls and Cody (Kathleen) Kosman of Reno, Nevada; four grandchildren, Samantha and Jacob Rich of Idaho Falls, Peyton and Isabella Kosman of Reno, Nevada; her mother, Elizabeth Berger of Vancouver, Washington; three sisters, Cece (David) Hawkes of Caldwell, Idaho, Cyndi (Don) Graff of Redding, California, Candy (Trey) Ziegler of Vancouver, Washington; and a brother, William (Sammy) Berger, Jr. of Vancouver, Washington. Cheryl is preceded in death by her son, Justin Kosman, and her father, William Berger.
