Cheryl Ann Mitchell "Charley" Kempfer slipped peacefully from this world and into the loving arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 31, 2018. Cheryl was born October 19, 1957, in Xenia, Ohio, to Thomas R. Mitchell and Anna Naydean Mitchell Chambers. She grew up and attended schools in Blackfoot and Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School. On June 23, 1976, she married Roger Anderson in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They were blessed with three sons, Josh, Jared and Joseph. They were later divorced. Cheryl married Richard "Ric" Kempfer on October 3, 2009, in Idaho Falls. She became a stepmother to his two daughters, Megan and Kayla. Cheryl and Ric made their home in Firth, Idaho. Cheryl worked many years as a sales professional and sales manager. Cheryl was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a Relief Society teacher and Young Women’s leader. She was also involved in scouting, PTO and Civitans. Cheryl loved shoe shopping, beautiful purses, Dalmations, the colors orange and blue, and was the most devoted Boise State football fan on the face of the earth. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, cake decorating, interior decorating, warm summer days and hummingbirds. She left everything she touched more beautiful than when she found it. She brightened the world with her compassionate soul and contagious laughter, giving hope to the hopeless, service to the needy and love to those that felt undeserving of love. She exemplified love for everyone she came in contact with. She deeply loved her husband, family, siblings, her beloved three sons, and adoring grandchildren.
