Cheryl Hayes

Cheryl Ann Johnson Hayes, 56, passed away May 2, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after an accident. Cheryl was born in Butte, Montana, to Leland Johnson and MaryLou Sawyer Johnson. She attended school in Shelley, Idaho. Cheryl married Edward L. Hayes December 1, 2000, in Idaho Falls Idaho. She worked as a cook for Captain’s Cove. Cheryl was a Christian. She was a member of the Eagles associated with the Eagles Riders. She loved to cook and barbeque, host parties, and play pool. She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers. Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Edward Hayes of Idaho Falls; Son, Davin (Suzy) Johnson of Roy, Utah; Daughter, Amanda (Steve) Wright of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Daughter, Kayla (Jeremiah) Fellows of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Daughter, Ashley (Bryan) Hill of Fort Riley, Kansas; 10 grandchildren; Brother, David (Marilynn) Johnson of Livermore, California; Sister, Linda Firkins of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Sister, Terry Wilde of Shelley, Idaho; Sister, Leann Nygard of Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will meet with friends Thursday, May 9, 2013, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge. Burial will follow at Taylor Cemetery at noon.
