Chelsea Booth

Chelsea Marie Russell Booth, 50, of Idaho Falls, returned to live with her Heavenly Father on July 3, 2026, in her home, surrounded by her family.

Chelsea was born to Lee and Karen Russell in Salt Lake City, Utah, on February 17, 1976. She grew up in Sandy, Utah, and attended Crescent Elementary, Mt. Jordan Jr. High School, and graduated from Jordan High School. She was part of choirs, and was on the swim team with her brothers and best friend.

She served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Chile Santiago West Mission from 1997-1998. She went to UVSC in Orem, Utah, and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies in Business Management and Spanish. While attending UVSC, she was part of the Latter-day Celebration show choir where she enjoyed singing and dancing with her many friends, her brother, Nick, and his wife, Shannon, her sister-in-law, Amy, and brother-in-law, Brytt. She loved performing and traveling with the choir and passed her love and passion for music down to her children.

Chelsea met her husband, Chris Booth, in 2003, and they were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on January 24, 2004. Chelsea was a faithful servant and served in many callings in the church, but her favorite calling was being a mother.

Chelsea and Chris were blessed with five beautiful daughters and one handsome son, Genevieve, Suzannah, Ruby, Patricia, Amelia, and Jacob. As a family, they enjoyed singing, laughing, and playing together. Chelsea always lit up every room she walked in, was patient, loving, kind, and funny. Chelsea had a wonderful sense of humor and always made everyone smile. She always made a house a home, no matter where they lived.

Chelsea is survived by her husband and their six children; her parents, Lee and Karen Russell; and her five siblings, Rich (Amy) Russell, Joey (Jen) Russell, Nick (Shannon) Russell, Benjy (Natalie) Russell, and Jinger (Brytt) Cloward; her aunts and uncles; and nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank everyone that helped Chelsea and her family throughout this journey.

Chelsea’s celebration of life and viewing will be held this weekend in Idaho Falls, Idaho. A public viewing will be held Friday, July 10, 2026, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Lincoln 6th Ward Building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 3102 Pinnacle Dr, Idaho Falls, ID 83401.
