Chase Huntsman, 37 of Idaho Falls, passed away May 9, 2021, at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Chase was born on October 5, 1983, to Kerry and Patti Huntsman. He grew up and attended school in Ashton and graduated from North Fremont High School. He also attended the College of Southern Idaho.
Chase was married and had two beautiful children, Drake and Kaeli Huntsman. Chase met the love of his life in September of 2012. Kailey and Chase lived in Idaho Falls, in a very loving and happy home that was shared with Drake, Kaeli and lots of animals.
Chase enjoyed being outdoors. He absolutely loved everything about nature. He was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. Chase also had a passion for cooking and grilling. He worked at Peterbilt in Idaho Falls, and loved every minute about his job. The people that he worked with, soon became some of his best friends. Chase was a very loyal friend to everyone that knew him. He had a great sense of love for his family. He loved being an uncle and dad.
Chase is survived by his father, Kerry Huntsman; mother, Patti Huntsman; sister, Bradie Lowe (Chris) of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Brittney Huntsman (Curtis) of Twin Falls, ID; fiancé, Kailey Guyon of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Drake Huntsman; daughter, Kaeli Huntsman of Idaho Falls, ID; grandmother, Jerrie Huntsman, of Ashton, ID; and grandmother, Mabel Marotz of Idaho Falls, ID.
Chase was preceded in death by brother, Zachary Huntsman; uncle, Dennis Marotz; grandfather, Terry Huntsman; grandfather, Victor Marotz; and cousin, Denni Dawn Sharp of Idaho Falls, ID.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 17, 2021, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, Ammon, Idaho. Pastor Gina Herman will be officiating the service. The family will visit friends Sunday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior, both visitations will be held at Wood East Side. Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery.
