Charlotte K Fox, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully passed away on June 12, 2026, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 25, 1950, in Idaho Falls, Charlotte was a beacon of kindness and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Charlotte was the cherished daughter of Claude (Bud) and Sarah Cox. Her formative years in Idaho Falls were marked by a deep sense of community and family values she carried throughout her life. Charlotte was preceded in death by her dear brother, Bob Cox; parents, Claude and Sarah Cox; whose memory she always held close to her heart.
On December 2,1967, Charlotte married the love of her life, David Fox, in Santa Ana, California. Together, they shared an extraordinary journey of 59 years, raising two loving children, Michael and Ann, and nurturing a home filled with laughter and joy. Their enduring partnership was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering commitment.
Charlotte loved gardening along with camping, fishing, and time with her family. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth, where friends and family alike were always greeted with open arms and a generous spirit. Her kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on countless lives, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Charlotte is survived by her devoted husband of 59 yrs, David Fox; her son, Michael Fox, and his wife Corrie; her daughter, Ann Galassi, and her husband, Myke; and her brothers, Dan, Sid, and Roger Cox. She was the proud grandmother to three adoring grandchildren, Renner Fox, Hannah Fox, and Mykel "MJ" Galassi; who brought immense joy to her life and whom she cherished deeply.
Charlotte's life was a testament to the power of love and kindness. Her memory will be lovingly cherished by all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to inspire us to live with generosity and compassion.
The family invites all who knew Charlotte to join them in celebrating her life. A service will be held to honor her legacy and to share stories and memories of the beautiful life she led at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. and Saturday 10-10:45 a.m. prior, both visitations at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
As we say goodbye to this remarkable woman, we take comfort in knowing that her love and light will continue to guide us. Rest in peace, dear Charlotte. Your legacy of love will forever remain in our hearts.
