Charles F. O'Maley - 09/28/2002 Charles F. O'Maley - 09/28/2002 CHARLES F. O'MALEY IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Charles Franklin O'Maley, 97, of Idaho Falls, died September 27, 2002, at Idaho Falls Care Center. He was born March 16, 1905 at Loogootee, Indiana to John Francis O'Maley and Mary Carolyn Swayze O'Maley. He grew up and attended schools in Kansas and Colorado. He moved to Howe, Idaho in 1926 and lived there for 44 years. He married Charlene Francis Mays in January of 1927. They farmed and ranched until 1970 when he retired and they moved to Arco. Charlene passed away in 1976 from cancer. He married Donna Mae Edwards Garn on March 31, 1978 in Jackson, Wyoming. They lived in Arco, Apache Junction, AZ, Palisades, and for the past 5 years, in Idaho Falls. He enjoyed gardening and entertaining. Surviving are:Wife: Donna O'Maley, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Josephine (Ray) Hofer, Pocatello, IDDaughter: Louise (Sid) Werry, Howe, IDSister: Modena Hampton, Mendon, UT16 Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren, 26 Great Great GrandchildrenHe was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2002, at the Howe Community Center. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Howe Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Ave., Idaho Falls. The family suggests donations be made to the Howe Community Center in Howe, Idaho.
