Charles William Juergens

Charles William Juergens, 77, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 7, 2023, at Lincoln Court Retirement Community. Charlie was born January 22, 1946, in Los Angeles, California, to Robert  Juergens and Margaret Ann Nelson Juergens. In his younger years, he lived in Hawaii, but his family then moved to Malibu, California. He continued to grow up and attended schools in Malibu and graduated from Santa Monica High School, where he was a member of the marching band. On October 11, 1969, he married Mary Katherine Coughlan in Malibu, California. Charlie and Mary made their home in first in Oxnard, California,  and later in Topanga, California. Charlie and Mary were co- owners of Business Printing Services, which was started by his father, with his brother Ken Juergens. They later moved to Highlands Ranch, Colorado, where they lived until Mary’s passing in 2021.

He loved to surf right off his house on the beach in Malibu. Charles is survived by his daughter and her husband, Heidi and Tim McJunkin of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Kenneth and his wife Susan Juergens, of Ventura, CA; and his one granddaughter, Isabelle McJunkin of Salt Lake City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Katherine Juergens; father, Robert Juergens; mother, Margareet Ann Juergens; daughter, Tamara Juergens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.
