CHARLIE HAYES
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Charles Jr. “Charlie”
Hayes, 78, of Idaho Falls, died June 27, 2004, at Eastern Idaho Regional
Medical Center.
He was born February 20, 1926, in Kankakee, Illinois,
to Charles Canaday Hayes and Alegra Felicitas Koobe Hayes. He and his
family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where he grew up and attended schools.
It was there he met and married Juanita Joan Doan.
Charlie served in the U. S. Army during World War II
and was stationed in Japan and the Philippines. He retired as an accountant
from Golden Valley Packers, but continued to work for Spur Cattle Company
as a consultant. He was well-liked and respected by his co-workers.
Charlie enjoyed family get-togethers and meeting his
friends for coffee. He enjoyed reading adventure novels and watching movies
with his family. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was an unmerciful
tease. Charlie loved spending time with his grandchildren, Jennifer [Scott]
Twitchell and Christine [Rodger] Chase; and one great granddaughter, Hannah
Twitchell. He was well-loved and will be missed.

Great Granddaughter: Hannah Twitchell
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Vashta Kendall.
Memorial Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June
30, 2004, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. The family will visit with
friends Wednesday for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral
Home.
Military Rites will be provided by the Bonneville County
Veterans Team.
