Charles B. Isom - 10/21/2002 Charles B. Isom - 10/21/2002 CHARLES B. ISOM IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO: Charles Brent Isom, 47, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 19, 2002, along with his wife, Jan, and daughter, Jennifer, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born September 18, 1955 at Idaho Falls to Charles Burke Isom and Fern Alice Hines Isom. He attended New Sweden and Osgood Elementary Schools, Central Junior High, Skyline High School, and graduated from Leadore High School. He then attended Idaho State University. He served in the U. S. Air Guard. He married Jan Sweeten on May 5, 1977 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He was a farmer, rancher, mechanic and worked as an engineer for INEL. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Scoutmaster in the Boy Scout Program. He enjoyed model airplanes, camping, hunting, scouting, and woodworking. Surviving are:Son: Blake (Mindy) Isom, Pocatello, IDSon: Shane Isom, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Daniel Isom, Idaho Falls, IDParents: Charles and Fern Isom, Arco, IDBrother: Don Isom, Arco, IDSister: Connie (Steven) Hatch, Boise, IDSister: Jackie (Layton) Larson, Aceguia, IDSister: Tresa (Joel) Searle, Arco, ID12 nieces and nephewsHe was preceded in death by a nephew, Skyler Searle, and his grandparents. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Saturday, October 26, 2002, at the Eagle Rock Stake Center (2020 South Charlotte Drive), with Bishop Lyle Stephenson of the Idaho Falls LDS Sageview Ward officiating. The family will meet with friends on Friday from 6-8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., and at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
