CHARLES A. DOBBE
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Charles Albin Dobbe, 53, of Idaho Falls,
died April 26, 2004, in Idaho Falls.
He was born September 12, 1950, in Wichita Falls, Texas,
to Frank Albin Dobbe and Barbara Jeanne Dobbe. The family moved to Idaho
Falls, where he attended schools graduating from Skyline High School.
He received his B.S. Degree from Idaho State University, then conducted
extensive postgraduate work in Nuclear Engineering.
He started as Health Physics Technician at the Idaho
Chemical Processing Plant at the INEL, then as a Research Engineer for
USNRC Regulatory Support. He joined the Emergency Management Department
in 1999 with the INEL contractor, and served as Assessment Specialist
(ERO). He was a member of the local chapter of American Nuclear Society,
the Emergency Management Issues Special Interest Group, and active in
Subcommittee on Consequence Assessment and Protective Actions, and the
Voluntary Protection Program.
He enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing pool, skiing, playing
guitar and music. He will always be remembered by his friends and co-workers
for his slow and easy going smile, his willingness to help, and his vast
knowledge and varying interests.

Sister: Marsha Sue Moore, Idaho Falls, ID
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday,
May 1, 2004, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 237 North Water Avenue,
with the Reverend Thom Larson, officiating.
The family will visit with friends Friday from 7 to 9
p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions
be made to Westmark Federal Credit Union, 2520 Channing Way, P. O. Box
2869, Idaho Falls, ID 83403, for James and Robin Dobbe.
