Charles Wilbur "Chuck" Boyd, Jr.

Charles Wilbur "Chuck" Boyd, Jr., 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 4, 2021, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls.

Chuck was born May 19, 1946, in Caldwell, Idaho, to Charles Wilbur Boyd and Ramona Twitchell Boyd. He grew up and attended schools in Boise and graduated from Borah High School in 1965. He also attended Boise State University where he earned his Bachelor Degree in Accounting.

On March 14, 2013, he married Debra Lynne Nedrow in Rexburg, Idaho. Chuck and Debbie made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, after his retirement from the State of Idaho Highway Department.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a missionary in the Australian Mission. He enjoyed hunting, 4-wheeling, football, baseball, genealogy, reading, Taco Tuesday, and spending time with his family and friends.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Boyd of Idaho Falls, ID; sons, Eric Charles Boyd, Lance Robert (Mandy) Boyd, Charles Murdoch Boyd, Nickolas Clapp, Justin Moran, Robin Jackson; sister, Claudia (Bruce) Hunter; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will visit with friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. Private family burial will be in the Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell, Idaho.
