BROWN IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Charles Elkin Brown, 84, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died October 5, 2001, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born January 5, 1917 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Charles Francis Brown and Cora Isabel Elkin Brown. He graduated from Hollywood High School then attended Loyola University in Los Angeles, California. He served in the Army 82nd Airborne Unit during World War II. He married Mary Jane Milliken January 8,1 939 in Hollywood, California. He worked as a motion picture film technician, living in Los Angeles for 59 years. They moved to Idaho Falls 22 years ago. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed coin collecting. Surviving are:Wife: Mary Brown, Idaho Falls, IDSon: David E. (Dolly) Brown, Leona Valley, CASon: Charles D. (Mary) Brown, Caldwell, ID 7 Grandchildren, 7 Great GrandchildrenHe was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., October 8, 2001, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, with Bishop Arthur Rammell of the Idaho Falls LDS Boulevard Ward officiating.
