I would like you to know how much your dad meant to me. He was my teacher in the 9th grade at O. E. Bell Junior High. He was the sweetest man I have known. He was a great teacher and a dear friend to all the kids in his classes. He made you feel that you could do a lot more than you thought you could, and he made you always want to be around him. He will surely be missed. I'm so happy he is with his Father now and full of the best life can offer. Your dad was a great teacher and a wonderful coach ... the best to your wonderful family.

Hello to all of the Bills' family!!
I have such fond memories of growing up in Ucon -- and much of my time was spent in your home. I have wished often that I had a way to email Mary, especially. I am sad with you right now; and I am so glad that we know that mortality is the middle act in our play -- there was one before this and there will be one after we "graduate." Please know that I am thinking of you and your family with many nostalgic thoughts-- your family played a bigger part than you know in the whole scheme of our lives! I remember a time or two when we bumped into Maurine and Charlie at the Salt Lake Temple while they were living here -- that was fun for me! Cling to the happy memories -- and know how blessed you were to have your Dad/husband with you for such a good long time!
Love,
Colleen

Maureen and family,
We are sad to hear about Charlie. He was a special gift in our family. We know our grandchildren and great-children will miss their special grandfather.
Margo, just know we love you and are always just a phone call away. Charlie and Bob are either on a fishing pond in heaven or playing some one basketball.
Love,
Denise

We were saddened to read about your husband, father, grandfather. We have fond memories of him coaching teams for Bonneville and Idaho Falls High Schools...and of being in the same ward out in Ucon years ago (when Carol was still a Maxfield). We send our most sincere thoughts of sympathy and love to all of you at this tender time. May all of you feel God’s loving arms around you to give you strength and comfort and peace as you adjust to your loss.

Dear Maruine and family...
We offer our condolences to you and your family for the loss of husband, father, grandfather.
Memories go back to the days when we worked together at Snake River. He turned a losing team into a one that won the state title. I appreciated his work ethic, his love for the game and for young men and their needs.
He has touched so many lives for good and we want you and your family to know it was our pleasure to know and associate with this good man.
May the Lords comforting influence abide with you and yours in the months and years ahead.
Our love to all. Ruth and Laverne

I played for Charlie, and he always treated me with the greatest respect. As the President of Idaho High School hall of fame, I put him in the hall as a coach, as he earned.
Please except my prayers for Charlie’s family. I am sure his back does not hurt any more. Thanks.
