Charles Allen

Charles Phillip “Chuck” Allen, 56, of Idaho Falls, passed away on March 3, 2012, at his home. He was born September 15, 1955, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Buddy Gene Allen and Emma Ella Young Allen. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Skyline High School. Charles married Melonie Howard and they were later divorced. He worked for 15 years as a concrete finisher. He then worked as a heating and air conditioning journeyman and owned and operated his own business, Allen’s Heating and Air. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union. Charles was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and photography. Survivors are: Brother: Russell Allen, Battle Mountain, NV Sister: Jean Allen, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Kenneth Allen, Battle Mountain, NV Sister: Dixie (Lanny) Dick, Victor, ID Brother: Ted Allen, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Jay Allen, Driggs, ID 5 nieces and 3 nephews He was preceded in death by his parents. A gathering will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) in Idaho Falls.
