Charles Franklin "Chuck" Adams, 84, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 9, 2013, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls of natural causes. Chuck was born June 12, 1928, in Peru, Nebraska, to Samuel Leroy Adams and Mary Martha Hendrikson Adams. He attended Peru High School and Boyles College. He served in the U. S. Army Air Corps. Chuck has lived in Peru, NB, Driggs, ID, Lima, MT, Victor and Nampa, ID; Salt Lake City, UT; Pocatello, Island Park, and Idaho Falls, ID. On October 19, 1951, he married Carma Lou Neeley in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. To this union was born three sons, Tim, Shane, and Scott. Chuck worked as a telegrapher and train dispatcher for Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of the Lions Club. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, golfing, fishing, snowmobiling, playing cards and spending time with his family. Upon retirement, he spent many happy years in Island Park where he was active in the community. Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Carma Adams of Idaho Falls, ID; Son, Tim Charles (Debbie) Adams of Farmington, MO, Son, Shane Franklin Adams of Pocatello, ID; Son, Scott Raymond (Cindy) Adams of Twin Falls, ID; 6 Grandchildren, Jason Scott Adams of Idaho Falls, ID; Jamie Kay Adams of Falls Church, VA; Kendra Rae Adams of Moscow, ID; Kayla Lou Adams of Pocatello, ID; and Phil & Toni; Sister, Betty Lou Buchanan of Nebraska City, NE; Great grandchildren Owen, Belle, Ryder, and Chase. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers Don, Robert, and Virgil, and two sisters, Opal and Audrey. Memorial Services will be held at Wood Funeral Home East Side 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Military rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team and the Idaho Honor Guard.
